Page 4, OBITUARY
DEATH -- Mr. Alfred MILLER who suffered a stroke of paralysis on Tuesday 
morning of last week, and of which an account appeared in the News, died at 
his home near Hardinsburg Saturday night, May 6, 1900, age 69.
     Mr. MILLER had all of his life engaged in farming and was exceedingly 
successful.  He was a native of this county, a staunch Democrat, but never 
took an active part in political matters.
     His wife and 3 children survives him.  He was a member of the Baptist 
Church.  The burial was on Sunday afternoon in the country graveyard.
