Mrs. Alta Mingus

Mrs. Alta Mingus, 65, of Grafield, died at Breckinridge
Memorial Hospital on Sunday, Oct. 14.  She was born
September 9, 1908 in Breckinridge County, the daughter
of John and Almedia Pile.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Irvin K. Mingus,
in September, 1973.

Surviving Mrs. Mingus are one son, Boyd Mingus, Garfield,
and three grandchildren.

The funeral was held from the Locust Hill Methodist Church
on Wednesday afternoon, Oct. 17, with the Rev. Leonard
Flener officiating.  Burial was in Turpin Cemetery, Locust
Hill, under the direction of Dowell Funeral Home.
