OBITUARY
A. F. MINGUS
Locust Hill (Special)
     Mr. A. F. MINGUS died at his home here Friday night, August 12, 1938.  
He had been seriously ill for only a few days.  He had served as Postmaster 
here for a number of years, and was engaged in the mercantile business.
     He is survived by:
his wife, Maria (should be Mariah) DAVIS MINGUS
one son:
Irvin K. MINGUS
one grandson:
Boyd MINGUS
two brothers:
Jesse MINGUS of Louisville, Ky
James MINGUS of Axtel, Ky (Breckinridge County)
one sister:
Mrs. John DAVIS of Shrewsberry, Ky (Grayson County)
     Funeral services were conducted at the grave by the Reverend A. A. 
SMILEY of Kingswood, assisted by the Reverend Perkins.  Burial in the Horsley 
Cemetery.
