OBITUARY
Mrs. Eva MONZINGO, age 82, of Louisville, Ky in Jefferson County, formerly 
of Breckinridge County, died Saturday, February 6, 1988 at Humana Hospital, 
University of Louisville.  She was born January 17, 1906 in Breckinridge 
County, a daughter of the late P.C. LASLIE and Annie CARMAN LASLIE.
     Mrs. MONZINGO was retired from Philip Morris Tobacco Company in 
Louisville, and a member of the 4th Avenue (United) Methodist Church.  She 
was preceded in death by her husband, Percy ARMES in 1939.  Survivors 
include:
one son:
Percy ARMES, Jr. of Brandenburg, Ky (Meade County)
1 granddaughter; 2 great grandchildren
     Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 9, 1988 
from the chapel of the Trent-Dowell Funeral Home in Hardinsburg with the 
Reverend Alfred Williams, Pastor of the Hardinsburg United Methodist Church, 
officiating.  Burial was in Fairview Cemetery.


Additional Comments:
It is unknown if Mrs. Eva LASLIE MONZINGO has a tombstone at the Fairview 
United Methodist Church Cemetery at SeRee, in Breckinridge County, Ky.  I 
did not find her listed in the cemetery records here on the Breckinridge 
County Archives database.
