MORRIS DIES--- James Harvey MORRIS was born April 25, 1882. Departed this life March 21, 1945, at the age of 62 years, 10 months, 26 days old. He was married to Oma KENNEDY April 1, 1909. To this union was born two sons, the Reverend Ray MORRIS of Louisville, Ky., and PFC James D. MORRIS of the U.S. Army stationed at Spokane, Washington, Embarkation Camp. Mrs. MORRIS preceded Brother MORRIS in death on March 6, 1919. He was later married to Mrs. Gracie CRIST NORTON ON August 8, 1921. He professed faith in Christ, and united with the Freedom Cumberland Presbyterian Church on February 17, 1899. For more than 45 years, Brother MORRIS had been a faithful and consistent attendant at church. Additional Comments: #0139 Freedom Cumberland Presbyterian Church and Cemetery; Directions: turn north immediately west of "Dead Man's Curve" from Kentucky Highway 60.
