Pauline Hedden Morris, 84, of Gas City, Indiana, formerly of Vanzant, died 
Tuesday, March 5 (1996), at Marion General Hospital, Marion, Indiana.  She was 
born in Ohio County, was a former teacher, and was retired from Owens-Illinois 
Glass Co.  She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star chapter No. 351, 
and was a member of Black Lick Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by 
her husband, Waverly Morris, who died in July 1995.  Survivors include:
one son:
Larry B. Morris of Lafayette, Indiana
three daughters:
Margaret Lewis of Gas City, Indiana
Nellie Sheward of Gas City, Indiana
Shirley Cox of Merrin, Indiana
20 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren
two brothers:
Denton Hedden of St. Louis
Pete Hedden of Fordsville
three sisters:
Clydia Banks of Lewisport
Jean Young of Fordsville
Bobbie Ferry of Owensboro
Services were Saturday (March 9, 1996) at Macedonia Baptist Church, 
Breckinridge County, with burial in the church cemetery.
