OBITUARY

     Frank NEWMAN, age 77, of Cloverport, Ky., died at Audobon Hospital in 
Louisville on Tuesday, December 30, 1980, after a short illness.  He was born in 
Mattingly, Ky., in Breckinridge County on June 6, 1903, the son of the late 
Nathaniel M. and Ruby RYAN NEWMAN.
     He was a retired farmer, a World War II veteran, and a member of the Pisgah 
Baptist Church.  He is survived by:
two brothers:
Harold NEWMAN of Star Route, Cloverport, Ky
Wallace NEWMAN of New Washington, Indiana
and nieces and nephews
     The funeral was held on Friday, January 2, 1981 at the Harry L. Dhonau 
Funeral Home, Cloverport, with the Reverend Paul Roberts, pastor of the Pisgah 
Baptist Church, officiating.  Interment was in the Pisgah Baptist Church 
Cemetery.
