OBITUARY
MRS. JESSIE HARPER NIX   1909 -- 1994
     Mrs. Jessie HARPER NIX, age 85, of Westview, Ky., in Breckinridge County, 
died on Sunday, February 20, 1994 in Huntingburg, Indiana (Dubois County).  Mrs. 
NIX was born on February 14, 1909 in Breckinridge County, a daughter of the late 
Willie and Alice LESLIE HARPER.
     She was a member of the Fairview United Methodist Church, and retired from 
Louisville Bedding.  Mrs. NIX was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond, in 
1988.
She is survived by:
two sisters:
Rachel CARMAN of Westview, Ky
Edith BUTLER of Louisville, Ky
one brother:
Louis HARPER of Illinois
and several nieces and nephews
     The funeral will be held today, Wednesday, February 23, 1994 at Trent-Dowell 
Funeral Home in Hardinsburg.  Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery.

690, midway between Mook and SeRee, Ky in central Breckinridge County, 
approximately 3 miles east of Westview, on KY 259.
