OBITUARY
MR. ERNEST NIX
     Mr. Ernest NIX, age 56, died at his residence at Locust Hill, Ky., in 
Breckinridge County on Saturday, April 28, 1973, of an apparent heart attack.  He 
was a veteran of World War II, and was a farmer at the time of his death.  Mr. 
NIX was born on September 8, 1916, in Breckinridge County, a son of the late 
Oscar NIX and Mrs. Cora NIX of Harned, Ky., who survives.

his wife, Mrs. Mary KINNERSON NIX
one son, Ernie NIX
one sister, Mrs. Erie SCHICK of Louisville, Ky
one brother, Herschel NIX of Louisville, Ky
     The funeral was held on Tuesday, May 1, 1973 from the Locust Hill United 
Methodist Church.  Burial was in the Locust Hill Cemetery under the direction of 
the Trent-Dowell Funeral Home in Hardinsburg.
