Ressie Carman Nix, age 98 of Hardinsburg,KY died Saturday, 1-31-2009 at her 
residence. She was born in Breckinridge County on 2-18-1910, the daughter of 
the late Edgar and Jenny Carman. She was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking for 
her family and spending time with them.
 
She was preceded in death by her husband - Ralph Nix and her daughters - 
Virginia Nix and Jean Lyons
 
She is survived by 3 sons - Randall Nix of Kensoha, Wisconsin
Donald and Ronnie Nix of Hardinsburg,KY
1 daughter - Maggie Sills of Brandenburg,KY
12 grandchildren
24 great grandchildren
 5 great great grandchildren
 1 niece - Helen Smith
 
There will be no visitation and funeral services were private. Memorial 
contributions are requested to: Alzheimer's Association
