OBITUARY   
     Ruth Edna NORTON, age 90, of Hardinsburg, died on Thursday, April 2, 2020 at 
her residence.  She was born in Hardinsburg on December 5, 1929, the daughter of 
the late Basil and Bertha WILLIAMS DOWELL.
     Ruth was a member of the Horsley Chapel United Methodist Church.  She was a 
very loving, kind, and soft spoken lady.  She was a homemaker who enjoyed 
quilting and gardening.
She was preceded in death by:
her parents
her husband, Ralph Edwin NORTON
a great grandson, Carson Scott SEBASTIAN
and her siblings  (not named)
     She is survived by:
one daughter
two sons
6 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and one due in August (2020).
     Private graveside services will be held at Freedom Cemetery under the 
direction of the Trent-Dowell Funeral Home, Hardinsburg.




Additional Comments:
#0130 Freedom Cumberland Presbyterian Church and Cemetery; Directions: Turn north 
immediately west of "Dead Man's Curve" from Kentucky Highway 60.  The church lies 
east of the road, and is blocked from view by a low ridge.
