MRS. LENA R. NORTON
     Mrs. Lena R. NORTON, age 88, of Rt.1, Harned, Ky., in Breckinridge County, 
died Wednesday, April 3, 1991, at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital, Hardinsburg.  
Mrs. NORTON was born January 5, 1903, in Breckinridge County, a daughter of the 
late William Riley SNYDER and Pillie DRISKELL.
     She was a housewife, a member of the Freedom Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 
and a lifelong member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Women.
She was preceded in death by:
her husband, Elbert Lee NORTON in 1973
a son, Bernard NORTON in 1945
a daughter, Louise NORTON in 1932
     Survivors include:
three sons
one sister
8 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild
     Services were held on Friday, April 5, 1991 at the Freedom Cumberland 
Presbyterian Church.  Burial was in the Freedom Cemetery with Trent-Dowell Funeral 
Home, Hardinsburg, in charge of arrangements.

Additional Comments:
#0130 Freedom Cumberland Presbyterian Church and Cemetery; Directions: Turn north 
immediately west of "Dead Man's Curve" from Kentucky Highway 60.  The church lies 
east of the road, and is blocked from view by a low ridge.
