O'BRIEN SHOCKS HER FRIENDS - HER END CAME AT HER HOME SATURDAY EVENING The friends of Mrs. J. W. O'BRIEN were greatly shocked at her sudden death which resulted from appoplexy at her home Saturday evening. The deceased was the daughter of the late Irvin BEAVEN (I believe BEAVIN is the correct spelling), who came to this city from LaRue County (Ky.). Mrs. O'BRIEN was apparently in the best of health on the day of her demise. She was a true Christian woman, big hearted and generous to a fault. She was a devout member of St. Rose's Catholic Church. Her funeral took place Sunday, and her remains were laid to rest in St. Romuald Cemetery, Hardinsburg. Additional Comments: Breckinridge County Cemeteries, Volume one, published in 1991: St. Romuald Catholic Church and Cemetery, located on the north side within the city limits of Hardinsburg. O'BRIEN, Annie M. July 22, 1847 -- Jan 21, 1899 I did not find a tombstone for Annie's husband or her father.
