OBITUARY
LESLIE O. OSBORNE, 74
     Leslie Orville OSBORNE, age 74, of Leitchfield, Ky (Grayson County), passed 
away Monday, October 13, 1997, at Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center, 
Leitchfield.
     Mr. OSBORNE was born May 12, 1923 in Breckinridge County, he was the son of 
James Willis OSBORNE and and Susan Elizabeth WHEATLEY OSBORNE.  He was retired 
from General Electric Company, was a World War II Army Veteran, and attended the 
Clinton Street Church of Christ.  Survivors include:
his wife, Josephine PREWITT OSBORNE
one son:
James Allen CARWILE of Clarkson, Ky (Grayson County)
one brother:
J. W. OSBORNE of Dale, Indiana
two sisters:
Grace CHANCELLOR of Westview, Ky (Breckinridge County)
Alice HALE of Falls of Rough, Ky (Breckinridge & Grayson County)
one granddaughter:
Tiffany CARWILE of Clarkson, Ky
     Funeral services were held Thursday, October 16, 1997 at the Ellis-Mayes 
Funeral Home in Leitchfield.  Burial followed at the Sand Knob Cemetery, 
Breckinridge County, Ky.
