MRS. E. E. PATE DEAD
     Mrs. Emma PATE, wife of the Reverend Eldred E. PATE, died at their home at 
Smith's Mills in Henderson County, Ky on Thursday, February 25, 1904, of Bright's 
Disease.
     Before her marriage to the Reverend PATE, she was Miss Emma THOMAS of 
Hawesville (Hancock County), and a sister to Mr. W. S. THOMAS and Miss Mary 
THOMAS, of that place.  Besides her husband, she leaves four grown sons.  The 
funeral was held at Hawesville Sunday, February 28, 1904.
