R. H. PENICK PASSED AWAY ------------- Saturday Evening at the Home of Her Daughter in Hardinsburg. Native of Greensburg. 69 Years Old. ------------- Mrs. R. H. PENICK who had been ill of stomach trouble for the last two years, passed away Saturday evening at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W. P. ROMNIE (should be spelled ROMINE) in Hardinsburg. The remains were taken to Custer for burial Monday afternoon. Mrs. PENICK was 69 years old, and was born and reared in Greensburg, Kentucky in Green County. For a number of years, she with her husband lived on a farm near Custer. Mrs. PENICK was a lovely Christian character, she was a devoted mother and wife, and had many loyal friends. Besides her husband, she leaves: one daughter: Mrs. W. P. (William & Fannie) ROMNIE (ROMINE), Hardinsburg, Ky three sons: the Reverend R. O. PENICK, paster of the Hodgensville (should be spelled Hodgenville) Methodist Church in LaRue County Morton PENICK of Buffalo, Ky in LaRue County C. A. (Clarence) PENICK of Custer Dana Brown & Peggy Russell Additional Comments: #0146 Good Hope Cemetery, located on Highway 1401, one mile from Custer, in Breckinridge County, Ky.
