OBITUARY
     Hubert E. PENICK, age 84, of Louisville, Ky, formerly of Irvington, in 
Breckinridge County, died on Friday October 3, 1980, at the Summerfield Nursing 
Home in Louisville.
     Mr. PENICK was born November 20, 1895, a son of the late Clarence and 
Carrie Elizabeth BANDY PENICK.  He was a retired farmer. and member of the 
Irvington Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
     He is survived by:
his wife, Mrs. Beulah HAYNES PENICK
three daughters:
Mrs. Dorothy WRIGHT of Harned, Ky
Mrs. Alma MOORE of Elizabethtown, Ky
Mrs. Anna CHISM of Louisville, Ky
one son, Russell J. PENICK of Louisville, Ky
one sister, Mrs. Lorena THOMAS of Chicago, Illinois
13 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren
     The funeral was held at 1 p.m. Monday, from the chapel of the Alexander 
Funeral Home, Irvington.  Burial was in the Freedom Church Cemetery, Garfield.

#0130 Freedom Cumberland Presbyterian Church and Cemetery; Directions: Turn north 
immediately west of "Dead Man's Curve" from Kentucky Highway 60.  The church lies 
east of the road, and is blocked from view by a low ridge.
