2006 Trent-Dowell Funeral Home obituaries
Floyd B. Phillips,Sr. age 85 of Hardinsburg,KY died Wednesday,August 23,2006 at 
his residence. He retired as an inspector for Owens Illinois in Gas City,IN. 
and was a WWII Army veteran.
 
He was born in Breckinridge County on August 30,1923 to the late Charles and 
Gertie Bratcher Phillips. He was preceded in death by his wife - Lucille Royal 
Phillips and 2 brothers - Carl and Glenn Phillips
 
Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10 AM at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home 
in Hardinsburg, Ky with Rev. Oliver Sanders and Rev. Daniel Wightman 
officiating. Burial will be in the Macedonia Cemetery with military honors. 
Visitation will be held on Friday from 4-8PM and after 8:30AM Saturday at the 
funeral home.
