Trent-Dowell Funeral Home Obituary Listings

Charles Edward Phillips, Sr., age 76 of Glen Dean, Ky. died Tuesday, January 
15, 2008, at the Breckinridge Memorial Hospital. He 
was the son of the late Frank and Leora Early Phillips.  He was a self-employed 
farmer where he enjoyed working his land and fishing.
 
Mr. Phillips is survived by:  His loving wife-Betty M. Phillips
Three sons:  Charles Phillips, Jr. of Falls of Rough, Ky.,            
Kenneth "Kenny" Phillips of McQuady, Ky.
Donnie Phillips of Falls of Rough, Ky.
Three Daughters:  Barbara Albright of Irvington, Ky.
Judy Hunt of Elizabethtown, Ky.
Cathy Goff of Falls of Rough, Ky.
One Sister:          Hallie Pierce of McQuady, Ky.
One Sister-in-law:       Bessie Phillips
 
Nine grandchildren, five great grandchildren and one step great grandchild 
survive.
 
Funeral Services for Mr. Charles Phillips, Sr. will be conducted on Saturday at 
11:00 am at the Glen Dean Cemetery in Glen Dean, Ky. with Reverend Daniel 
Wightman ofiiciating. Burial will be in the Glen Dean Cemetery.
 
Friends may visit with the Phillips family from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday and after 
8:00 a.m. on Saturday at the Trent-Dowell Funeral Home in Hardinsburg, Ky.
 
Expressions of sympathy may be in the form of donations to the Glen Dean 
Cemetery or The American Cancer Society.
