OBITUARY
     William R. PIERCE, age 87, of Louisville, Ky (Jefferson County), died 
Thursday, November 30, 1961 at his residence at 662 Lindell.  He is survived 
by:
five daughters: (no residence given for survivors)
Mrs. Florence MAGGARD
Mrs. A. Rose BENNINGTON
Mrs. Mary B. McALEESE
Mrs. Lorraine WILLIS
Mrs. Mildred BARRICA
seven sons:
Oscar E. PIERCE
James T. PIERCE
William G. PIERCE
Robert C. PIERCE
Everett B. PIERCE
Edgar L. PIERCE
Preston G. PIERCE
two brothes:
Cornelius PIERCE
Luke PIERCE
22 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren
     The funeral was held on Monday, Secember 4, 1961 from the Herbald & 
Horlander Funeral Home, and burial was in Cave Hill Cemetery in Louisville, 
Ky.
