OBITUARY   Page 5-A
FRANKLIN C. PILE   1933 - 2020
     Franklin C. "Dusty" PILE, age 87 of Hudson, Ky., in Breckinridge County, 
died on Monday, May 11, 2020 at his residence.  He was born at Mook, in 
Breckinridge County on March 10, 1933, the son of the late Bill (Ova H.) PILE 
and Ora Jane ARMES.
     Dusty was a veteran of the United States Army, having served during the 
Korean War.  He was the recipient of a Purple Heart, the Korean Service Medal, 
and 4 bronze campaign stars.
     He was a hard-working farmer and enjoyed camping, fishing, and traveling.  
He was a very faithful member of the Fairview United Methodist Church, which he 
attended for over 50 years.  His life touched all those around him with his 
example of his faith in Christ, his love of farming, and his love for his wife 
and family.
He was preceded in death by:

Harold "Tobe" PILE
Anna "Jim" FRANK
Alyne "Moss" PILE
Betty Sue TUCKER
Surviving Mr. PILE are:
Dusty was happily married to his wife, Sue, for over 65 years
one son
4 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren & one expected later this year
one brother
and many nieces, nephews, & friends who adore him
     Private graveside services were held with Military Honors under the 
direction of Trent-Dowell Funeral Home, Hardinsburg.

690, midway between Mook and SeRee, Ky., in central Breckinridge County;
