"PETE" PILE Leonard H. "Pete" PILE, age 86 of Kingswood, Ky., in Breckinridge County, died on Friday, April 30, 2010 at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital, Hardinsburg. He was born in Woodrow, Ky., Breckinridge County on December 27, 1923. He is the son of the late Walter and Lester CARMAN PILE. Mr. PILE retired from American Olean Tile Company in 1986, and was a World War II NAVY veteran, and a member of NRA and American Legion. Pete was the former owner and operator of Westview Grocery. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and gardening. Spending time with his family was his greatest pleasure. He was preceded in death by his sister, Jewel GARDNER. He is survived by: his wife of over 64 years, Sue PILE of Kingswood one son one daughter 3 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren one brother four sisters Funeral services were held on Wednesday, May 5, 2010, at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home, Hardinsburg. Burial was in the Horsley Cemetery. Additional Comments: #0177 Horsley Cemetery #1, located on Highway 1401 (Woodrow Road) between Woodrow, Ky., and Locust Hill, Ky., in central Breckinridge County.
