PILE, was held at the Hardinsburg Methodist Church on Friday, March 18, 1960 at 2:00 p.m., with the Breckinridge Lodge No.67 (in which he was a member) held Masonic Rites at the grave. Homer PILE, the last of 6 sons of C. C. PILE and Bettie BRUNER PILE. He is survived by: his widow, Cora TUCKER PILE five children: Joel M. PILE, Buffalo, New York Mrs. H. L. STOCKTON, Dallas, Texas Mrs. G. R. WORDING, Dallas, Texas Mrs. Frank WOOD, Louisville, Ky. Robert G. PILE, West Palm Beach, Florida two grandchildren: Miss Mary Margaret WOOD Miss Elexis PILE his only sister: Mrs. Henry J. HAYES and numerous nieces and nephews The Dowell Funeral Home, Hardinsburg was in charge of funeral arrangements. Additional Comments: I found Homer's single tombstone at Ivy Hill Cemetery at Hardinsburg, Breckinridge County, Ky. I did not find a tombstone for his wife, Cora.
