DEATH NOTICE:
Page 1, Column 2
YOUNG BOY YIELDS LIFE
     Robert POLK, 10 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. R. B. POLK (should be R. T. 
POLK), died early Thursday morning, March 10, 1904.  He had been an invalid, and 
was unable to walk for a number of years.
     The funeral was conducted from the family residence Friday afternoon, March 
11, 1904.  The Reverend S. O. CHRISTIAN, of the Baptist Church and the Reverend 
P. L. KING, of the Methodist Church, officiating.  The interment was in the city 
cemetery.

HIS PARENTS ALSO HERE:

These burials are the only three POLK burials in volume 1 cemetery book with a 
tombstone.
