OBITUARY

     James Marcus POOLE, Owensboro, Ky in Daviess County, died at the 
Owensboro-Daviess County Hospital in Owensboro Friday evening, August 22, 
1980, at the age of 58.  He was the son of the late Charles POOLE and Tula 
Jane CARWILE POOLE, and was born February 22, 1922 in Hardinsburg, Ky.  He was 
a veteran of World War II.  He is survived by:
his wife, Mrs Anna POOLE
six daughters and four sons all of Owensboro, Ky
23 grandchildren
     The funeral was held on Monday, August 25, 1980 from the Harry L. Dhonau 
Funeral Home in Cloverport.  Burial was in the New Bethel Cemetery, Route 2, 
Hardinsburg, Ky.

James Marcus POOLE and his wife, Annie Abigail WILKERSON POOLE have a tombstone.
