OBITUARY

     Agnes POOLE, age 88, of Ekron, Ky in Meade County, died on Sunday, August 
1, 2004 at her home.  She was born January 30, 1916 in Garfield, Breckinridge 
County, a daughter of the late Seth HOBBS and Rosie SIMMONS.  She was a 
homemaker and a member of Ekron Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by 
her husband, Ernest POOLE in 1986 and a daughter, Bobby Sue in 1939.  Mrs. 
POOLE is survived by:
two sons
a step-daughter
2 grandchildren; 11 step-grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren;
and 9 great great grandchildren.
one brother:
Oval HOBBS of Guston, Ky (Meade County)
one sister:
Edna NORTON of Harned, Ky (Breckinridge County)
an adopted brother:
Vernon HAYNES of Louisiana
and a very dear friend: 
Marie BULLOCK of Ekron, Ky
     Funeral services were held on Tuesday, August 3, 2004 at the Alexander 
Funeral Home, Irvington.  Burial was in the Hensley Cemetery in Garfield, Ky.
