Lula Mae Arnold Poole, age 88 of Hardinsburg, KY died Tuesday, July 21, 2009 
at Breckinridge Health ECF. She was born in Meade County, KY on July 23, 1920, 
the daughter of the late Morgan and Lula Prather Arnold. She was a homemaker 
who enjoyed quilting, sewing, gardening, canning and being with her family. 
She was a member of English Baptist Church.
 
Preceded in death by her husband - Jesse Poole and her great grandson - Jon 
Elder
 
Mrs. Poole is survived by her 4 children: Nettie Dean Elder and Patsy Poole of 
Hardinsburg, KY
Jesse Clarence Poole of Valley Station, KY
Ruth Ann Herbaugh of Payneville, KY
1 brother: Rudolph Arnold of Webster, KY
6 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren
 
Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 24, 2009 at 1PM CDT at Trent-
Dowell Funeral Home with Bro. Paul Williams officiating. Burial will be in the 
English Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation on Thursday from 3:30 - 8:00PM CDT 
and after 8:30AM CDT Friday. Memorial contributions are requested to: English 
Baptist Church Cemetery.
