OBITUARY

     Benjamin D. POWELL, age 61, of Waterford, Michigan in Oakland County, died 
December 21, 1970 at his home.  He was born in Breckinridge County, Ky.
He is survived by:
his wife, Mrs. Daisy POWELL
two daughters:
Mrs. Ada MERVYN of Fenton, Michigan
Miss Jill POWELL of Hazel Park, Michigan
five sons:
William POWELL of Drayton Plains, Michigan
David POWELL of Fort Bliss, Texas
Frank POWELL of Holly, Michigan
Jack POWELL of Waterford, Michigan
Sam POWELL of Waterford, Michigan
two sisters:
Mrs. Lula WHITTINGHILL of Bloomington, Illinois
Mrs. Margaret BONNEWELL of Sturgis, Michigan
one brother:
Joe POWELL of Ortonville, Michigan
     The funeral was held on December 26, 1970 from the Goshen Baptist Church in 
Glen Dean, and the burial was in the Powell Cemetery.  The Dowell Funeral Home 
of Hardinsburg, was in charge of arrangements.
