Breckinridge County New newspaper; Nov. 16, 1898 edition, page 2 
Another one of our aged citizens gone from our midst; Uncle Jimmy Pool who has
been in invalid for several years bid adieu to earth Nov. 3rd and was laid to
rest in St. Anthony's cemetery last Friday.  He was a good pious old man and we
trust whilst his body reposes beneath the clay his soul is with God.

Additional Comments:
An email received by me (Dana Brown) by Mary Pool lists the following
information beyond the newspaper account:

"It is an obit for James M. P'Pool who lived in Breckinridge County.   He was
born 1821 in Granville County, North Carolina and died 3 Nov 1898 in
Breckinridge County, Kentucky.   He is buried in old Mt. Carmel
Cemetery near Axtel in Breckinridge County, KY.   I was looking at
your site and noticed there are Obits and thought you could use this
one."
