OBITUARY
     Hubert PRIEST, a 62-year-old Irvington resident of Breckinridge County, 
died at 10:34 a.m. EST, Sunday February 15, 1981, at the Methodist Hospital, 
Louisville, (Jefferson County), Ky, following a short illness.  He was born 
in Breckinridge County on October 16, 1918, the son of the late Burl and 
Fannie SMITH PRIEST.  He was a farmer and a Veteran of World War II. 
Surviving him are:
his wife, Mrs. Lillian MARR PRIEST
one daughter
three sisters:
Mrs. Eula MITCHAM of Irvington, Ky
Mrs. Goldie BANDY of Louisville, Ky
Mrs. Lena MOSS of Louisville, Ky
one brother:
Paul PRIEST of Richmond, Virginia
     The funeral was conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 17, 1981, from 
the chapel of the Alexander Funeral Home, Irvington.  Burial was in the Marr 
Cemetery, Stinnettsville.

Hubert PRIEST & his wife have a tombstone at Marr Cemetery, which is located 
off Highway 86, near Stinnettsville In Breckinridge County, Ky
