OBITUARY
     Ms. Ruth PRIEST, age 81, of Irvington, Ky., in Breckinridge County, died on 
Friday, September 28, 2001 at Elizabethtown, Ky.  She was born on October 3, 1919 in

Garfield, Ky., in Breckinridge County, the daughter of the late Matt M. PRIEST and 
Rosa HAYNES.  She was retired from Civil Service at Fort Knox, Ky.
She is survived by;
a special friend of 55 years, C. L. MEADOR (now deceased)
one nephew
several cousins
     The Funeral was held on Monday, October 1, 2001 from the chapel of the
Alexander 
Funeral Home in Irvington, Ky., and burial was in the Freedom Cemetery.

#0130 Freedom Cumberland Presbyterian Church and Cemetery; Directions: Turn north 
immediately west of "Dead Man's Curve" from Kentucky Highway 60.  The church lies 
east of the road, and is blocked from view by a low ridge.
