Mr. RAMSEY was married in 1908 to Essie ALLEN who died 2 years later. He was later married to Cova SCOTT who died in 1945. He is survived by: his 3rd. wife, the former Alpha DECKER four sons: Odie RAMSEY (no residence given) Ova RAMSEY (no residence given) Hobson RAMSEY (no residence given) Daniel RAMSEY (no residence given) 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren two brothers: Harvey RAMSEY (no residence given) Eff RAMSEY (no residence given) one sister: Mag. Dowell Funeral Home in Hardinsburg (Breckinridge County), Ky., was in charge of funeral arrangements, and burial was in Hudson Cemetery. Ramsey was the 8th child out of 11 children born to Stephen RAMSEY and Nannie Belle WHITWORTH of Breckinridge County, Ky. Samuel E. Ramsey married first in 1908 to Essie ALLEN, who died about 1910. Her burial is unknown to me. They had one son, Odie RAMSEY, Sr. Samuel E. Ramsey married second on 14 September 1910 in Breckinridge County, Ky.to Miss Cova L. SCOTT, the daughter of William H. SCOTT and Nora HARDIN. Cova was born in Breckinridge County, and died in Custer Precinct in Breckinridge County. They had two sons, Ova and Hobson Ramsey. Some information for Cova came from her death certificate. Samuel E. RAMSEY married third to Miss Alpha DECKER, the daughter of Daniel and Ada POOLE DECKER, after 1945.
