Trent-Dowell Funeral Home Obituary Listings
Virginia Rankin, age 83 of Hardinsburg,KY died Sunday, 3-23-2008 at Medco 
Center in Hardinsburg,KY. She was born in Breckinridge County,KY on 9-28-1924, 
the daughter of the late Lewis and Flonnie Lyon Rankin. Virginia was a member 
of Friendship Baptist Church, who enjoyed listening to Gospel music and working 
puzzles.
 
She is survived by 2 brothers: Robert Rankin of Hardinsburg,KY and Paul Rankin 
of Brandenburg,KY
2 sisters: Birdie Teller and Mabel Stinnett of Hardinsburg,KY
several nieces and nephews
 
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, 3-25-2008 at 2PM at Friendship 
Baptist Church with Rev. Travis Northcutt officiating. Burial will be in the 
New Bethel Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 9:30AM on Tuesday at the church. 
Memorial contributions are requested to: Friendship Baptist Church Building 
Fund. Trent-Dowell Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
