The deceased had been ill for eleven weeks. The body was buried in the Pisgah Church burying ground on Thursday. Mr. RICE was an industrious young farmer, just in the prime of life, and his death was a sad one indeed. By energy and hard work he had provided his family with all the comforts of life, and was beginning to lay aside his hard-earned savings for a future day when death summoned him. He leaves a wife and five young children, to whom is extended the deepest sympathy. _________________________ Breckinridge News, Cloverport, Ky., Wednesday, October 10, 1906 Samuel RICE of Pisgah, who has been sick of typhoid fever for the past two months, died September 26, 1906, and was buried at the Pisgah grave yard, the Reverend George RICHARDS, conducting the funeral service. Mr. RICE was a member of the Pisgah Baptist Church, and was an honest, upright man. He leaves a wife and five small children. TAUL & Lucy Ann BEAVIN RICE TAUL he has a single tombstone "s/o W.I. & Lucy Taul" After Samuel RICE died, Lucy remarried to William I. Taul, and they eventually moved to Evansville, Indiana. Lucy is buried there.
