Lamar "Pete" Richards, 66, of Hardinsburg, died Thursday, November 16, 2000, at 
Norton's Hospital in Louisville.  Mr. Richards was born July 13, 1934, in 
Breckinridge County, the son of the late Floyd and Mayme Rogers Richards.  He 
was a water distribution supervisor for the City of Hardinsburg-U.S. Filter, 
and was an Army veteran.  A son, David Richards, a granddaughter, Brittney 
Sago, and three brothers, Earl, Bill, and Deward Richards, preceded him in 
death.  Survivors are:
his wife:  Mrs. Ressie Richards
three daughters:
Marcia Dowell of Hardinsburg
Dana Flood of Hardinsburg
Joy Brown of Evansville, IN
a son:
Kent Brown of Raymond
four sisters:
Gladys Smith of Hardinsburg
Opal Robbins of Hardinsburg
Norene Richards of Hardinsburg
Helen Sansota of Hardinsburg
a brother:
Herbert Richards of Hardinsburg
7 grandchildren and a great-granddaughter
A memorial service was held at 2 p.m. Sunday, November 19, at the Hardinsburg 
United Methodist Church.  Trent-Dowell Funeral Home, Hardinsburg, was in charge 
of arrangements.  Memorial contributations may be made to:
