Page 2, Garfield News Items:  Death

Miss Nannie Board, Mrs. A. M. Bandy, and Mr. Abe Richardson went to 
Brandenburg Friday to attend the funeral of Miss Susie Richardson.

Miss Susie Richardson, daughter of Reverend J. D. Richardson, died at the home 
of her brother, A. A. Richardson, in this place, November 28th.  Her body was 
taken to Brandenburg for burial Friday.

Mrs. Sallie Shacklett, of Ekron, who came down last week to be with her 
sister, Miss Susie Richardson in her last sickness, returned to her home 
Tuesday.

Page 2, Death

Miss Susie Richardson, who has been an invalid and great sufferer for many 
months, passed to rest at her brothers, Mr. Abe Richardson, Garfield, last 
Wednesday, and was buried on Friday in the Brandenburg Cemetery.  Susie had a 
great many relatives and warm friends here, and when they knew that the 
summons had come and "all was well", they could but acknowledge the goodness 
of God to release her spirit for "peace sweet peace".
