OBITUARY
MRS. NANNIE LEE SAFFER
     Mrs. Nannie Lee SAFFER, age 83, of Harned, Ky., in Breckinridge County, 
died Wednesday, September 1, 1976, at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital, 
Hardinsburg.  Mrs. SAFFER was born in Breckinridge County on August 16, 1893, 
the daughter of the late Newton and Betty R. COMPTON HORSLEY.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Guy SAFFER in 1969.
     She is survived by:
four daughters:
Mrs. Bobby HAYNES of Harned, Ky
Mrs. Gilbert FRANK of Harned, Ky
Mrs. Floyd DODSON of Cecilia, Ky
Mrs. M. C. DANIEL of Louisville, Ky
two sons:
Howard THORNHILL of Louisville, Ky
Bobby K. SAFFER of Greenwood, Arkansas
two 1/2 sisters:
Mrs. America WOODS of Radcliff, Ky
Mrs. Oral STINNETT of Louisville, Ky
one 1/2 brother, Orville HORSLEY  (address unknown)
11 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild
     The funeral was held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 4, 1976 from the 
Locust Hill United Methodist Church under the direction of the Trent-Dowell 
Funeral Home, Hardinsburg.  Burial was in the church cemetery.
