OBITUARY

     Mrs. Bettie SANDERS, age 81, widow of the late Fred SANDERS, died on 
Tuesday, May 23, 1967 at the Breckinridge Memorial Hospital, Hardinsburg, Ky, 
after a brief illness.  Mrs. SANDERS was a resident of Cloverport in 
Breckinridge County for several years.  She was the daughter of the late Tom 
Henry SMITH and Mary Ellen ROBERTS, and was born in Hancock County, Ky in May 
1885.  She is survived by:
five daughters:
Mrs. Jess FUQUA of Cloverport, Ky
Mrs. Wallace SMITH of Louisville, Ky (Jefferson County)
Mrs. Elmer SMITH of Louisville, Ky
Mrs. George BURDEN of Louisville, Ky
Mrs. Hubert SMITH of Louisville, Ky
one step-daughter:
Mrs. Earl McMANAWAY of Fordsville, Ky (Ohio County)
three step-sons:
Harvey SANDERS of California
Claude SANDERS of Louisville, Ky
George SANDERS of Fordsville, Ky
55 grandchildren
     Funeral services were held on Thursday, May 25, 1967 from the Dhonau 
Funeral Home in Cloverport.  Burial was in the Taul Cemetery near Cloverport.
