OBITUARY   Page 8, Column-1

     Mrs. Lou Ethel SAUNDERS, age 65, of Fairview, Illinois in Fulton County, 
died at her home on Friday, June 8, 1979.  She was born in Breckinridge County on 
March 30, 1914, daughter of the late Ofallow MEADOR & Lydia HALL MEADOR.
Her husband, Carl SAUNDERS died in 1961.
     She is survived by:
four sisters:
Mrs. Evelyn CONNER of Harned, Ky
Mrs. Gracie NORTON of Irvington, Ky
Mrs. Carrie HOOK of St. Augustine, Illinois
Mrs. Lena SPRINGGATE of Cedar Bluff, Nebraska
three brothers:
Andrew MEADOR of Harned, Ky
Lewis MEADOR of Guston, Ky
Henry MEADOR of Freemont, Nebraska
     Funeral services were held on Monday, June 11, 1979 from the Freedom 
Cumberland Presbyterian Church with burial in the church cemetery.  Trent-Dowell 
Funeral Home, Hardinsburg, was in charge of arrangements.


Additional Comments:
#0139 Freedom Cumberland Presbyterian Church and Cemetery; Directions: turn north 
immediately west of "Dead Man's Curve" from Kentucky Highway 60.  The church lies 
east of the road, and is blocked from view by a low ridge.
