OBITUARY  (PHOTO)    Wanda L. SCOTT  1936 - 2018
     Wanda L. SCOTT, age 82 of Fairdale, passed away Tuesday, September 11, 
2018 at the Wesley Manor Health Care Center in Louisville (Jefferson County, 
Ky).
     Wanda was born February 9, 1936 in High Plains, in Breckinridge County, 
the daughter of the late Arno Dewey & Gracie Jane PRIEST HAYNES.  Wanda was 
retired from Brown & Williamson Tobacco Company in Louisville, and lived at 
Rough River for several years where she enjoyed being with her friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband:
John E. SCOTT
her son:
David KENDALL
her sisters:
Thelma BANDY
Lucille HAYNES
Lucy BOARD
her brother:
Arno Dewey HAYNES, Jr.
Wanda is survived by her other brother, and several nieces and nephews.
     Funeral services were held Saturday, September 15, 2018 at the Chapel 
of the Alexander Funeral Home, Irvington, in Breckinridge County, with 
burial in High Plains Cemetery.    




Additional Comments:
Fairdale, Ky is in southern Jefferson County.
Wanda is buried at the High Plains United Methodist Church Cemetery which is 
located 1.8 miles east of the junction of the High Plains Road and Highway 
690 (Custer-Corners Road).
