     George Michael "Mike" SHELMAN, age 43, of Union Star, Ky in Breckinridge 
County, died Thursday, December 7, 2000, at his home.  Born in Hardinsburg, Ky 
on September 30, 1957, Mr. SHELMAN was the son of George Edward "Track" 
SHELMAN of Union Star,and Juanita BURCH of Cloverport.  He was employed with 
Gary Hicks Insulation at Harned, Ky.  Survivors are:
two brothers
3 nieces
     Funeral services were held on Sunday, December 10, 2000, from the chapel 
of Alexander Funeral Home, Irvington.  Burial was in the Bruner Cemetery near 
Frymire in Breckinridge County.

Ridge.  Southwest of Frymire, 2 1/2 miles northeast of Union Star, Ky in Breckinrdge
