He was born Febuary 28, 1886, the son of Joel and Laura SHREWSBERRY. He was a farmer until a few years ago, when he retired, and had lived in McDaniels, Ky (Breckinridge County), until his death. Mr. SHREWSBERRY is survived by: his wife, Patie SCOTT SHREWSBERRY two daughters: Mrs. William BLAIR of Hudson, Ky (Breckinridge County) Mrs. Thomas BEAUCHAMP of Route 2, Leitchfield, Ky (Grayson County) three grandchildren: Eugene BLAIR, in the Armed Forces in Germany Gary BEAUCHAMP of Route 2, Leitchfield, Ky Janet BEAUCHAMP of Route 2, Leitchfield, Ky two sisters: Mrs. Nettie SMILEY of Cloverport, Ky (Breckinridge County) Mrs. Tishie ARMES of Kingswood, Ky (Breckinridge County) Funeral services were held on Friday, August 11, 1961 from the Fairview Methodist Church, for which he was a member, and burial was in the Church Cemetery. Additional Comments: Breckinridge County Cemeteries, volume one, published in 1991: Fairview United Methodist Church Cemetery, located on the north side of Highway 690, midway between Mook and SeRee, Ky in central Breckinridge County, approximately 3 miles east of Westview, on Highway 259. (There are burials behind the church which is the older section, and also across the road from the church.)
