OBITUARY
     Mrs. Zelma SIMMONS, a 70 year old Irvington, Ky resident, died October 5, 
1974 at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital in Hardinsburg.  She was born in 
Breckinridge County, the daughter of the late Frank & Savannah NORTON BROWN.
     She is survived by:
her husband, Jess W. SIMMONS
one son, Calvin SIMMONS of Jeffersontown, Ky
one grandson
one sister, Mrs. Luella HAYDEN of Guston, Ky.
     Funeral services were held on Tuesday, October 8, 1974 from the Alexander 
Funeral Home in Irvington, Ky.  Burial was in the Freedom Cemetery, Harned.

Additional Comments:
#0139 Freedom Cumberland Presbyterian Church and Cemetery; Directions: turn north 
immediately west of "Dead Man's Curve" from Kentucky Highway 60.  The church lies 
east of the road, and is blocked from view by a low ridge.
