OBITUARY
MRS. RUTH BOARD SIPES  1926 - 2001
     Mrs. Ruth BOARD SIPES, age 75, of Rineyville, Ky., in Hardin County, 
formerly of Breckinridge County, died at the Hardin Memorial Hospital, 
Elizabethtown, Ky on Friday, February 16, 2001.  She was born in Breckinridge 
County on January 8, 1926, the daughter of the late John BOARD and Nora Lee 
LASLIE.  She was a housewife and of the Methodist faith.
She was preceded in death by:
two sons:
Randy Carroll SIPES
Homer Lee SIPES
one grandson:
Garry B. SIPES, Jr.
She is survived by:
her husband, Owmar SIPES
three daughters
one son
two sisters
one brother
6 grandchildren
     The funeral was held on Monday, February 19, 2001 at Trent-Dowell Funeral 
Home in Hardinsburg.  Burial was in the Fairview Cemetery.
