OBITUARY
     Mrs. Lillie C. (Katie) SKAGGS, a 97-year-old Calumet City, Illinois 
(Cook County) resident, formerly of Irvington in Breckinridge County, died 
Sunday, July 22, 1979, at the St. Margaret Hospital in Hammond, Indiana 
(Lake County).  Mrs. SKAGGS was born in Breckinridge County on October 17, 
1881, a daughter of the late Charlie LAWSON & Sallie HAYNES LAWSON.  She is 
survived by:
one daughter:
Mrs. Zola BOLGER of Calumet City, Illinois
two sons:
Wilber SKAGGS of Irvington, Ky
Andrew SKAGGS of Brandenburg, Ky (Meade County)
15 grandchildren
41 great grandchildren
23 great great grandchildren
8 step-grandchildren
     Funeral services were held on Wednesday, July 25, 1979 from the 
Alexander Funeral Home in Irvington, with burial in the Marr Cemetery near 
Stinnettsville, Ky in Breckinridge County.
