OBITUARY

     John Galen SKEETERS, age 85 of Hudson, Ky in Breckinridge County, and 
formerly of Vertrees, Ky in Hardin County, died March 27, 1986 at his residence. 
     Mr. SKEETERS was born November 26, 1900 in Hardin County, the son of the late 
William and Lucy CUNDIFF SKEETERS.
He is survived by:
one son:
Everett SKEETERS of Tuscaloosa, Alabama
five daughters:
Judy BLAIR of Hudson, Ky
Pamela FORD of Hudson, Ky
Marlene SKEETERS of Cecilia, Ky
Lavon SKEETERS of Cecilia, Ky
Mrs. Carolyn WILSON of Big Clifty, Ky
one sister:
Maude DEVORE of Dallas, Texas
14 grandchildren; one great grandchild
     Funeral services were held on March 30, 1986 at the Coyles Cumberland 
Presbyterian Church, with burial in the Hudson Cemetery.
