OBITUARY

MARIE SLAUGHTER   1927 - 1997
     Marie SLAUGHTER, age 70, of Cecilia, Ky in Hardin County, died on Tuesday, 
October 14, 1997.  She was a native of Hardin County.
She was preceded in death by two husbands:
Leslie STRIBLING
Maxwell SLAUGHTER

She is survived by:
one son
two daughters
two brothers:
Tom COOGLE of Cecilia, Ky
Anthony COOGLE of SeRee, Ky
one sister:
Loreen DAUGHERTY of Custer, Ky
10 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren
     The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. today at Liberty Chapel Baptist Church, and

burial will be in the Hudson Cemetery.  Brown Funeral Home of Elizabethtown, Ky is 
in charge of arrangements.
