OBITUARY
     Robert F. SMILEY, a 52-year-old Harned resident of Breckinridge County, 
died suddenly on Friday, October 24, 1978 in a tree-cutting accident in 
Westview (Breckinridge County).  He was born May 22, 1926, the son of the 
late Hollis & Daisy SMILEY.  He is survived by:
two sisters:
Mrs. Mary Ann BOARD of Harned, Ky
Mrs. Ruby LUCAS of Hudson, Ky (Breckinridge County)
several nieces & nephews
     The funeral was held at 10 a.m. Friday? from the  chapel of the Trent-
Dowell Funeral Home, Hardinsburg.  Burial was in the Fairview Cemetery in 
Hudson.
NOTE: Fairview United Methodist Church & Cemetery is located between Mook 
and SeRee, not in Hudson.
