OBITUARY  Page 5-A

     Kennith Ray SMILEY, Sr., age 63, of Leitchfield, Ky in Grayson County, 
passed away on Friday, May 11, 2018, at his home.  He was born in Grayson County 
on June 27, 1954, a son of the late Isaiah Dee and Virginia MATTINGLY SMILEY.
     He worked as a machine operator for Gates Rubber Company for 31 years, and 
enjoyed playing his guitar, fishing, farming, and gardening.  He was a member of 
God's Mission Church.
     He was preceded in death by his brother, Harold Dee SMILEY.  He is survived 
by:
his wife of 46 years, Mrs. Dorothy McDANIEL SMILEY
one daughter
one son
8 grandchildren
     Funeral services were held on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at the Calvert Community 
Church with burial in the Calvert Church Cemetery, under the direction of the 
Dermitt Funeral Home, Leitchfield.
