OBITUARY
MRS. NETTIE SMILEY  1899 -- 1976
     Mrs. Nettie SMILEY, age 77 of Cloverport, Ky., in Breckinridge County, 
died on Wednesday, October 20, 1976 at the Breckinridge Memorial Hospital in 
Hardinsburg.  She was born on February 2, 1899 in Grayson County, Ky., the 
daughter of the late Joseph Thomas and Laura SMITH SHREWSBURG (should be 
SHREWSBURY).  Her husband, Henry, preceded her in death.
She is survived by:
three daughters:
Mrs. Bessie HOWARD of Hudson, Ky
Mrs. Louise RUDELL of Sellersburg, Indiana
Mrs. Lottie Mae ESTES of Tampa, Florida
four sons:
Sherman SMILEY of Cloverport, Ky
Joe SMILEY of Cloverport, Ky
Roy SMILEY of Franklin, Indiana
Harold SMILEY of Bentley, Louisiana
one sister:
Mrs. Laticia ARMES of Kingswood, Ky
30 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren
     Funeral services were held on Saturday, October 23, 1976 from the chapel 
of the Harry L. Dhonau Funeral Home in Cloverport.  Burial was in the Fairview 
Cemetery.

690, midway between Mook and SeRee, Ky., in central Breckinridge County; 
approximately 3 miles east of Westview, on KY 259.
